Each day more than 40,000 children die. Countless others scratch a meagre living from rubbish dumps, under constant threat from disease and malnutrition. Many are drawn into crime, prostitution and drugs – and of these most will die with no experience or understanding of the love of Jesus..

Bringing life and hope
Acts One Eight Ministries is a Christian Charitable Trust set up to bring the love of Jesus and good health, to children like these. Our goal is to build 100 family sized orphanages around the world where children can grow up in safety and in a loving family environment. Our ideal is to partner with a leader of a church group who has a vision for smaller orphanages rather than the larger institutional type. We share health information with carers and helpers in these and in other orphanages around the world. We give the children nutritional support that helps to keep them well. And we show them, in action, the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.
